John and Regina Blackburn

1974
A classic war story courtship, John and Regina started their life together and family in 1943. The long distance and post war challenges of Los Angeles did not stop them from their first born in 1944.
They both were strong practicing Catholics and had six children, a demand for any family in the '50's and 60's.
Life can wear you down, but the survivors are clearly seen. By 1974 when they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary their story was already a remarkable legacy for the children.
