Regina Francis Haunschmann-Hilgart-Blackburn
Chicago in the 1920's was the "hottest" spot in the country if not the world. It's why they called it the "Roaring Twenties" Regina had a picture perfect start but then when she was just 7 years old her mother dies and when she is 13 her father dies. Her and her sister Tony are left to be raised by her Aunt Francis and Uncle Fred Hilgart. Her cousin Loretta is her main guide, friend and mentor until she is introduced by Loretta to John Blackburn. They are married in 1944 before John goes off to war and she has her first son, Gerald in November of 1944.
